On Thursday, November 14th, Geoff Brooks and Chemoia Hodge visited the Ciboney School on Virgin Gorda. They gave the pupils a maritime history lesson of the Virgin Islands, and an update on the activities of Virgin Islands Sloop Foundation (VISF).
Chemoia, along with Norissa deLeon, are VISF apprentices and working to restore the Sloops with Geoff. Both are graduates of the Introduction To Woodworking Course which was part of the Maritime Studies programme at the H Lavity Stoutt College.
